Our Story
INSTITUTIONAL PROFILE:
After the humble beginning in 1993 Holy Cross Hospital has witnessed phenomenal growth during the past thirty two years. The institution provides comprehensive health care services through its departments of General Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics and Neonatology, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Orthopedics, Radiology, Clinical Pathology, Hemodialysis unit, Ultra-Sonography, urology, ophthalmology and Community Health Programs. The out-patient department runs Monday through Saturday and the Emergency unit runs round the clock.
Our aim is Holistic Health care and Holistic Education for improving the quality of life of the rural population and our main targets are women and children.
Our holistic approaches to health care and to the education of the young are showing signs of positive changes in to the lives of the people.
The school of Nursing was started in 2006, aims to prepare professionally qualified nurses to meet the health care needs of the people in Christian spirit of service. We trains 30 students every year in General Nursing and Midwifery.
School of Nursing is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and Meghalaya Nursing Council for General Nursing and Midwifery Course of three years. This Nursing education provides profound impact in health Care System.
