A Disaster Management Mock Drill was conducted in the Holy Cross Hospital,Tura to evaluate preparedness and ensure an effective response during emergencies such as fire, earthquake, or mass casualty incidents. The drill involved doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, security personnel, and support staff.

During the exercise, the emergency alarm was activated and staff followed the hospital disaster management plan. Patients were safely evacuated, triage procedures were demonstrated, and emergency response teams coordinated rescue and first-aid services.

The drill helped improve coordination, response time, and awareness among staff. It also identified gaps in emergency preparedness and provided an opportunity to strengthen safety measures.

The mock drill enhanced readiness, ensured patient safety, and strengthened the hospital’s ability to respond effectively during real disasters.
